Mainframe Escape
A twin-stick roguelite inside a PC. You are a process escaping an infected machine, and heat is the thing that kills you.
One-person studio
Tiltedlem is one person building small, dense games: design, code, art and sound. Right now that means Mainframe Escape, a twin-stick roguelite set inside an infected computer.

I build everything myself, which keeps the games small and specific. I would rather ship one mechanic that nobody else has than five that everybody does.
Mainframe Escape came out of one question: what if the floor under you was a circuit board, and the thing keeping you alive was keeping the machine cool? Every system in it answers to that.
Design, engineering, art, sound and release. Godot 4 and GDScript, with Python for the tooling around it.
Small builds, played often. Systems that can be explained in one sentence. Nothing in the game that a player cannot see working.
Publishing conversations, playtesters, and people who want to write about or stream the game. Say hello.
Clips of the game as it comes together, and the occasional thing going badly wrong.
Longer posts on what I am building and why, and an email when there is something new to play.
